Because I do so much commercial work I think I often confuse people and they don’t know that I also do a lot of private work, like family portraits, weddings, events, etc. The below job was in West Hoathly. I took my portable studio to a family’s home there and we got some terrific shots.
The way I do family portraits is very different to most. Many photographers have a physical studio set up and the family goes there to get their photos done. Many times they have to pay for not only the photo session, but the individual photos as well. Like all of my photography I charge a flat fee and you get all the photos we’re able to get in that one fee. You then get a CD of all the high resolution images and they’re yours to keep and do what you like with.
This saves you money and allows you to get a lot more photos for a lot less.
Thanks to everyone below for allowing me into your home. You all photographed so well. :)

This weekend, my good friend and fellow professional photographer, Sam Wordie, invited me along to her photo shoot in Forest Row, East Sussex. She said she was photographing a band and not having that in my portfolio I jumped at the chance.
The day went brilliantly. The folks over at The Swan in Forest Row lent us the use of the pub for a bit, while we did our shoot and I’m very thankful that they did. The shots of the band in the giant fireplace are my favorite and we never would of pulled that off had they not let us take over the joint for a bit. So thanks guys!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing George and Anne from Tunbridge Wells. We secured the Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club grounds for the shoot and it turned out to be amazing. Despite the threat of rain and the cold. The Ashdown Park Hotel is an extremely photogenic venue. Both the grounds and the building itself make a fabulous backdrop for any photo shoot. Thanks George and Anne for braving the weather. I think we got some great shots!
